The Saints give a one-year deal to tight end Jimmy Graham.
New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham signed a one-year contract with the team on Tuesday. Mickey Loomis, exec vp/gm of the Saints, made the official proclamation.
Graham, who stands at 6'7" and 265 pounds, has been a member of the NFL for 12 years after being drafted by the Saints at No. 95 in Round 3 of the 2010 NFL Draft. Graham has played for the Saints for the first five years of his NFL career (2010–14), the Seahawks for two years (2015–17), the Packers for two years (2018–19), and the Bears for two years (2020–21).

Graham has been a member of the NFL for 12 years. In that time, he has played in 184 regular season games (starting 132) and recorded 713 receptions for 8,506 yards (11.9 average) and 85 touchdowns. Graham has 31 receptions for 402 yards (13.9 average) and five touchdowns in nine postseason games, starting in six of them for the Saints, Packers, and Bears. Graham has been honored with five Pro Bowl nods (including three with the Saints) and two AP All-Pro nods (in 2011 and 2013). In 2013, he earned first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors after setting franchise and league records with 86 receptions for 1,215 yards (14.1 average) and 16 touchdown catches, the second-most by any tight end in NFL history. In 2011, Graham broke the club record with 99 receptions for 1,310 yards (13.2 average) and 11 touchdowns, earning him recognition as a second-team All-Pro and a starting spot in the Pro Bowl. Graham had 386 receptions for 4,752 yards and 51 touchdowns in his five seasons with the Saints, shattering the franchise records for a tight end. Graham is second all-time in Saints history in receiving touchdowns and sixth in receptions, receiving yards, and total touchdowns.
The four-year letterman from Goldsboro, North Carolina, also played football for the University of Miami's graduate team. In his lone season of collegiate football, he played in 13 games and started one, accumulating 17 receptions for 213 yards (12.5 average) and five touchdowns. This proved to be a successful stepping stone to the NFL.
